Anonymous tip about drugs being sold at a Middlesboro home leads to arrest of Speedwell, Tn. man

On Sunday afternoon July 25, 2021, after an anonymous tip that drugs were possibly being sold at residence located at 1316 1/2 Winchester Avenue, the Middlesboro Police Drug Interdiction Team made contact with an individual identified as Dustin Sizemore of Speedwell, Tn.

After a quantity of drugs, money, and a firearm was seized in the operation, Sizemore was taken into custody by Officer Nick Capps and lodged in the Bell County Detention Center.

Dustin Sizemore was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, trafficking Marijuana less than 8 oz., and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also served with three outstanding warrants for failure to appear.

Also charged on scene was 24-year-old Markel Hubbard of Middlesboro trafficking Marijuana less than 8 oz. He was cited to court.

Middlesboro Police encourage the public to continue to report all illegal or suspicious activity. Tips may remain anonymous.
