At 12:13pm on Sunday, June 14, 2020 Middlesboro Police responded to a report of an armed robbery at the BP station on 38th and Cumberland Avenue.

In his citation, Sgt. Barry Cowan reports the clerk stated a man, later identified as 21 year old Andrew Dusseau of Middlesboro, came into the business, called the clerk by name and pointed a gun at him pulling the trigger twice.

Dusseau fled the property in a vehicle and a be-on-the-lookout was issued based on the clerk's description. At approximately 1:08pm a vehicle matching that description was stopped by Lt. Floyd Patterson at a driveway on Highway 441.

Dusseau was found to be a passenger in the vehicle and a plastic gun was retrieved. He was arrested after positive identification and lodged in the Bell County Detention Center charged with robbery -1st degree.
