Two men arrested on assault charge of a family member

On Tuesday, February 5, 2019 Middlesboro Lt. Tom Busic, along with Officers Robin Venable and Harvey Johnson, responded to a residence on Greenwood Rd in regard to an assault.

Arrested on scene was 27 year old Michael Allen Partin and his fiancé 24 year old Joshua A Rodrigues after it was discovered by the officers that the two men had physically assaulted Partin’s 20 year old brother Jacob during a dispute at their residence.

Lt. Busic states in his citation that Jacob was struck in the head with a plaster flower pot resulting in what appeared to be a very large gash to his forehead down to the skull.

Both Partin and Rodriguez were lodged in the Bell County Detention Center charged with assault 2nd degree.
