From Appalachia Narcotics Investigations -
Detectives with Appalachia Narcotics Investigations have indicted several individuals in Harlan County on multiple drug charges.
Between May 4, 2022 and May 22, 2022 the following were arrested on indictment warrants:
· Verdie Myers (66 years old of Baxter) - Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense, Greater than 2 Grams of Methamphetamine
· Vanna Myers (57 years old of Baxter) - Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense, Greater than 2 Grams of Methamphetamine
· Michelle Boring (43 years old of Grays Knob) - Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense, Greater than 2 Grams of Methamphetamine; Persistent Felony Offeder, 1st Degree.
· Kerrynton Asher (23 years old of Eastbrook) - Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense, Greater than 2 Grams of Methamphetamine.
· Joe Gross (30 years old of Evarts) - Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Offense, Heroin (2 Counts); Importing Heroin (2 Counts), Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense, Greater than 2 Grams of Methamphetamine (2 Counts); Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, Fentanyl/Carfentanyl; Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 3rd Degree, Drug Unspecified; Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon; Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Persistent Felony Offender, 1st Degree.
· Paige Hensley (24 years old, Lejunior) - Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Offense, Heroin (2 Counts); Importing Heroin (2 Counts); Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, Fentanyl/Carfentanyl (2 Counts); Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense, Less than 2 Grams of Methamphetamine; Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 3rd Degree, Drug Unspecified.
· Michael Rigney (37 years old of Lejunior) - Tampering with Physical Evidence; Fleeing or Evading Police 1st Degree (On Foot); Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense, Greater than 2 Grams of Methamphetamine; Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 2nd Degree, Drug Unspecified; Persistent Felony Offender, 2nd Degree, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
· John Bush (32 years old of Lexington) - Fleeing or Evading Police, 1st Degree (Motor Vehicle); Fleeing or Evading Police, 1st Degree (On Foot); Wanton Endangerment, 1st Degree, Police Officer; Display of Illegal or Altered Registration Plates; Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense, Greater than 2 Grams of Methamphetamine; Persistent Felony Offender, 1st Degree.
Appalachia Narcotics Investigations was assisted in arresting these individuals by members of the Harlan County Sheriff’s Office, Loyall Police Department and the Kentucky State Police.
