Arrest made in a "boil water challenge" case.

Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on Friday July, 26 2019 at approximately 1:00 PM Clay County Chief Deputy Clifton Jones arrested 42 year old Angela Guth of Bowling Branch.


The arrest occurred after investigation of a prior incident involving a juvenile child who poured boiling water onto another juvenile while spending the night at the above Guth's address.


Guth failed to contact child's parents or seek medical treatment until several hours later. That child had to be sent to Cincinnati Burn Unit to treat 2nd and 3rd degree burns. Chief Jones also charged the juvenile with wanton Endangerment.


Angela Guth, 42 was charged with: • Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree • Criminal Abuse 2nd Degree- Child 12 years or under.
