On Wednesday May 8, 2019 at approximately 7:00 PM Clay County Public Affairs Officer Trent Baker was contacted by the family of David Taylor, 25 of Highway 149 the Clay County Detention Center Inmate that ran off from work release on May 3, 2019.
They had stated he would only turn himself him only to Public Affairs Officer Trent Baker. The subject was returned to the Clay County Detention Center without any incident.
David Taylor, 25 was charged with Escape 2nd Degree
