On Tuesday night July 19, 2022, at approximately 7:54pm Harlan County Dispatch received a call of a single vehicle accident with injuries on KY 2007 in the Coldiron community. The caller stated that the vehicle was on fire.
Responding to the scene was the Wallins Volunteer Fire Department who found the female driver out of the burning vehicle. After arriving on scene a short time later, Lifeguard Ambulance Service assessed the woman’s condition as she was complaining of pain.
The fire department extinguished the car fire and the road was shutdown during the incident.
Also responding were KSP Troopers Cameron Cornett and Gabe Price of Post 10.
