On Tuesday, February 8, 2022, 29-year-old Matthew Wayne Mullins of Jonesville, VA (formerly of Harrogate, TN) was placed under arrest by Detectives with the Claiborne County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division on the charge of aggravated child abuse and neglect.
The arrest comes after an investigation was conducted by detectives in regard to the physical abuse of a three month old child that resulted in serious bodily injury to the child.
