21 year old Rachel Seals was arrested on Wednesday November 27, 2019 by Middlesboro Officer Dakota Torstrick.
In his citation Torstrick states that Seals left out Suboxone* in reach of a child. The child then took the Suboxone and was subsequently taken to the Middlesboro ARH Emergency room and admitted to the hospital for treatment.
Rachel Seals was lodged in the Bell County Detention Center charged with wanton endangerment 1st degree. She currently has no bond set.
A post made on our social media page by the mother of the child states that she is "just thankful my youngest daughter is ok and praying my eldest daughter learns a serious lesson this time!" She also states the father of the child was present in the home at the time of the incident.
*We have removed the word "strip" as we have been informed the Suboxone was in tablet form.
