Williamsburg man sentenced to 13 years in prison for sex related crimes
From the Williamsburg Police Department -
On Friday June 19, 2020, 43 year-old Randy Claxton plead guilty in Whitley Circuit Court to charges of distributing obscene material to a minor, unlawful transaction with a minor 1st degree illegal sex act, and prohibited use of electronic communication system to procure a minor.
Claxton was sentenced to thirteen years prison.
The sentencing is the result of an investigation conducted by WPD Officer Greg Rhoades and successful prosecution by Whitley County Commonwealth’s Attorney Ronnie Bowling.
