Three people were arrested in Whitley County for making counterfeit money, according to citations from police.
Williamsburg Police officers responded Wednesday to a call about a fake one hundred dollar bill and theft from a local pastry shop.
Police said Sharee Richerson passed the one hundred dollar bill and stole the from the store. When they found her, she was in a car with Ishmael Wahid and Prince Antoine. Police searched the car and found a printer.
All three were charged with possession of a forged instrument and possession of a forgery device. Richerson was also charged with shoplifting.
All three were lodged in the Whitley County Detention Center and have since been released on bond.
