The Laurel County Sheriff's Office responded to a disturbance call early Saturday morning.
Deputies say Jason P. Sims, 38, was allegedly running through people's yards screaming and cursing.
When deputies arrived, they found Sims running behind a house just off Old Way Road. They then determined Sims was under the influence.
Sims told police he had smoked 'bad dope' the day before.
He is now charged with public intoxication-controlled substances and disorderly conduct.
