Bell County Sheriff's Deputies arrest 14 in January for drug trafficking

After several months of investigation, the Bell County Kentucky Sheriff's Department arrested multiple individuals for drug trafficking in it's continued efforts to combat the spread of drugs in the community.


The following were arrested during the month of January and lodged in the Bell County Detention Center:


Ricky Johnson of Dorton Branch has been charged with 3 counts trafficking Methamphetamine (2 counts less than 2 grams , 1 count greater than 2 grams).


Kennie Hoskins of Jenson has been charged with 1 count trafficking Drug Unspecified (pills) and Hydrocodone.


John Gregory Brock of Dorton Branch has been charged with 2 counts trafficking Methamphetamine less than 2 grams.


Donnie Rutherford of Newtown has been charged with 1 count trafficking Methamphetamine less than 2 grams.


Billy Rose of Dorton Branch has been charged with 2 counts trafficking Methamphetamine less than 2 grams.


Jeannie Rose of Dorton Branch has been charged with 1 count trafficking Methamphetamine less than 2 grams.


Cody Williford of Newtown has been charged with 2 counts trafficking Methamphetamine less than 2 grams.


Jessica Logan of Jenson has been charged with 1 count trafficking Methamphetamine less than 2 grams.


Paul Holland of Bradfordtown has been charged with 1 count trafficking Methamphetamine less than 2 grams.


Matthew Winchester of Arjay has been charged with 1 count trafficking Methamphetamine less than 2 grams.


Howard Wilson of Kettle Island has been charged with 2 counts trafficking Methamphetamine less than 2 grams.


Christopher Cox of Arjay has been charged with 1 count trafficking Drug Unspecified (pills) and Hydrocodone.


Randy Akers of Newtown has been charged with 2 counts trafficking Methamphetamine less than 2 grams.


Michael York of Pineville has been charged with 1 count trafficking Methamphetamine less than 2 grams.


After several months investigation these arrest was made in the month of January, for drug trafficking. Assisted by Operation Unite. More charges/arrest are pending.


**All those reported as being arrested (or cited to court) by WRIL are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
