Bledsoe man arrested for sexual offenses involving juvenile that had been under his care

On Monday, October 11, 2021, Kentucky State Police Trooper Logan Miracle served a complaint warrant for sexual offenses on a Bledsoe, Ky. man.


Trooper Miracle states in the warrant that from July 1, 2020 through July 1, 2021, 39-year-old Timothy Linville of Bledsoe committed sexual abuse – 1st degree (victim under 12), promoting a minor under 16 in a sex performance, and possessing/viewing matter portraying sexual performance by a minor.


The acts are alleged to have occurred when the victim lived with Linville or when he was babysitting the victim at another location in Harlan County. According to the victim, Linville “groomed” her over several months by buying her vapes in exchange for various favors he would get in return at a later date, which also included sexual pictures of the victim sent via text message.


Linville is also accused of touching the victim inappropriately on three separate occasions.

Timothy Linville was arrested and lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center and is being held on a $20,000 cash bond.
