From 8th Judicial District Attorney General Jared Effler
On Friday, February 24, 2023, Eighth Judicial District Criminal Court Judge Zachary R. Walden sentenced Dominique Justice to one hundred and five (105) years to be served in the custody of the Tennessee Department of Correction.
The sentence stemmed from Dominique Justice’s conviction of multiple acts of child sexual abuse including Rape of a Child, Incest, and Statutory Rape.
This case was investigated and prosecuted by Detective Rocky White and Lieutenant Detective Jason Henegar with the Claiborne County Sheriff’s Department. The Claiborne County Child Advocacy Center and the Department of Children’s Services were an integral part of the investigation and prosecution in this case.
The state was represented by Assistant District Attorney Carla N. Brewer at sentencing with assistance from Assistant District Attorneys Courtney Rickert and Graham Wilson during the investigation and trial preparation phases of the case.
