From the Claiborne County Sheriff's Department -
On Tuesday, April 23, 2024, Detectives with the Claiborne County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigations Division executed a narcotics search warrant at 218 Lone Holly Ln in New Tazewell.
During the execution of the search warrant, detectives recovered a large amount of Methamphetamine along with Marijuana, bags, and scales used to resell the narcotics.
They located Fred R. Johnson Jr. and Jerry T. Brooks inside the residence.
Both Fred R. Johnson Jr. and Jerry T. Brooks were taken into custody and charged as follows:
Jerry T. Brooks of Tazewell TN
Possession of Methamphetamine for resale (over 400 grams)
Possession of a Schedule VI Controlled Substance for resale
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Criminal Conspiracy
Fred R. Johnson Jr of New Tazewell, TN
Possession of Methamphetamine for resale (over 400 grams)
Possession of a Schedule VI Controlled Substance for resale
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Criminal Conspiracy
Maintaining a Dwelling
Both men are lodged in the Claiborne County Jail.
