Knox County Authorities Looking For Armed And Dangerous Man After A Stinking Creek Shooting

Deputies are actively searching for 42-year-old Daniel Edwards of Knox County about a shooting that took place in the Stinking Creek community on Thursday, May 8, 2025.

Edwards is described as a white male, 6', 230 lbs., shaved head, with full neck tattoos and several tattoos on his arms.

Do not approach Edwards, he is considered armed and dangerous.

Edwards is currently wanted for the shooting, but has also recently absconded from parole supervision.

The victim in the shooting has not been identified yet, but was air-lifted to the UK Medical Center for treatment of two gunshots to the lower extremities.

The US Marshal Service is assisting in this case.
