Knox County Ky Man Charged After Requesting Sex from a Person He Thought Was a Juvenile

According to the citation taken out by KSP Trooper John Hoskins, he states he made contact with a caller who said he had messages from 26-year-old Dalton Ray Woods of Gray, Ky. Woods is alleged to have requested sex with who he believed to be a 13-year-old boy.
The caller notified law enforcement of the messages while at Woods' residence. The trooper then made contact with Woods interviewing him. The trooper stated that Woods admitted to communicating with the (juvenile) through TikTok and later requesting the person's cell phone number to continue messaging.
Woods told Trooper Hoskins he intended to take an Uber to the purported juvenile's residence in Corbin, Kentucky to have sexual intercourse on Sunday, October 11, 2026. During the interview, Woods admitted to sending the messages and wanting to have sexual intercourse with the person he believed to be a 13-year-old boy.
Dalton Woods was arrested and lodged in the Knox County Ky Detention Center charged with procuring or promoting the use of a minor by electronic means.
he is being held on a $50,000 cash bond.
