On September 14, 2021 Court Security Officer Ginger White arrested John R Fuston age 42 of Kettle Island, KY on a Bell County Bench Warrant for failure to appear on Speeding, No Operators License and No Insurance charges. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On September 14, 2021 Court Security Officer James Smith arrested Robert Hubbard age 34 of Barbourville, KY on a Clay County Bench Warrant for failure to appear on Driving on DUI Suspended License, Possession of Controlled Substance-1st Degree and Contempt of Court charges. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On September 15, 2021 Deputy Sam Mullins arrested Steven W Cecil age 49 of Williamsburg, KY on a Knox County Bench Warrant for failure to appear on Public Intoxication/Controlled Substance and Resisting Arrest charges. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On September 16, 2021 Deputy Jesse Smith was dispatched to a complaint of an intoxicated man with a knife outside a residence on Railroad Street in Gray. While being placed under arrest for Alcohol Intoxication in a Public Place, Joseph B Elliott age 29 of Gray, KY became combative. He was then charged with Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest. Joe Elliott was also wanted on a Laurel County Arrest Warrant for Fraudulent Use of Credit Card. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On September 17, 2021 Deputy Sam Mullins arrested Joni Woods age 26 of Corbin, KY on a Knox County Arrest Warrant for Terroristic Threatening-3rd Degree. She was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On September 17, 2021 Deputy Bobby Jones attempted to execute a warrant on Nadia Duvall at a residence on Waterson Lane in Barbourville. During the arrest Nadia Z Duvall age 19 of London, KY was able to slip out of the handcuffs and flee on foot. After being apprehended again, she was charged with Escape-3rd Degree, Fleeing or Evading Police-2nd Degree, Disorderly Conduct-2nd Degree, Resisting Arrest and Menacing. Nadia Duvall was wanted on a Whitley County Bench for failure to appear on Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition-over $500, Criminal Mischeif-1st Degree, Leaving Scene of Accident and Contempt of Court charges. She was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On September 17, 2021 at approximately 3:45 pm Deputy Jesse Smith received a complaint of a two year old child by its self at a residence on KY 459 south of Barbourville. After arriving at the location and contacting the caller, Deputy Smith went to the residence of the child and arrested the father, Aaron McCartt age 29 of Barbourville, KY, charging him with Endangering the Welfare of a Minor. Aaron McCartt was also wanted on a Whitley County Bench Warrant for Nonpayment of Child Support. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center. Department of Child Protective Services also responded and later released the child to the mother.
