Knox County Sheriff Mike Smith is reporting the following Enforcement Actions:

On October 19, 2025, Deputy Thomas was dispatched to a domestic violence complaint at a residence on Henson Hollow Road in Barbourville. After contacting the parties involved, Deputy Martin arrested Stephen Bridges age 43 of Barbourville, KY charging him with Assault-4^th Degree. Stephen Bridges was also wanted on a Knox County Arrest Warrant for Assault-4^th Degree and Terrorist Threatening-3^rd Degree. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On October 20, 2025, Deputy Thomas Martin responded to a single vehicle accident on Bramblewood Drive in Corbin. After conducting an investigation, Michael Baker age 32 of Corbin, KY was arrested and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On October 24, 2025, Deputy David Dunn received a trespassing complaint at a residence on Sturgist Street in Flat Lick. After arriving at the residence and making contact with the owner, Deputy Dunn arrested Kermit Williams age 44 of Corbin, KY and Kirstin H Lawson age 27 of Flat Lick, KY charging them with Criminal Trespassing-1^st Degree. During the arrests two plastic bags containing suspected methamphetamine was located in their possession. Both individuals were charged with Possession of Controlled Substance-1^st Degree and Public Intoxication Controlled Substance. They were lodged in the Knox County Detention Center

On October 24, 2025, Deputy David Dunn arrested Sonya M Sizemore age 51 of Barbourville, KY on a Knox County Bench Warrant for failure to pay the fines on Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition/Shoplifting and Public Intoxication Controlled Substance. She was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center

On October 24, 2025, Deputy Thomas Martin arrested Brandi Beach age 40 of Cannon, KY on a Knox County Bench Warrant for failure to pay the fines on Trafficking in Controlled Substance-1^st Degree, Possession of Controlled Substance-1^st Degree and with Physical Evidence charges. She was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On October 25, 2025, Deputy David Dunn arrested Robert T Brown age 33 of Scalf, KY on a Knox County Bench Warrant for failure to pay the fines on Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Public Intoxication/Controlled Substance charges He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center

On October 26, 2025, Deputy Thomas Martin arrested Virgil Baker age 38 of Barbourville, KY on a Knox County Arrest Warrant for Wanton Endangerment-2^nd Degree and Harassment.  Virgil Baker was also wanted on a Knox County Bench Warrant for failure pay the finer on a License to be Possession charge. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On October 26, 2025, Deputy David Dunn arrested Crystal Sizemore Bennett age 49 of Flat Lick, KY on a Knox County  Arrest Warrant for Receiving Stolen Property /over $1000. The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by Deputy Bethany Hensley into the theft of two air conditioner units on June 17, 2025. Crystal Bennett was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On October 26, 2025, Deputy David Dunn arrested Anthony M McFarland age 51 of Bryants Store, KY on a Knox County Bench Warrant for failure to appear for trial on Speeding, Operating on Suspended or Revoked Operators License and Failure to Surrender Revoked Operators License. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On October 26, 2025, Deputy Thomas Martin arrested Amy Young age 35 of Bimble, KY on a Knox Bench Warrant for failure to appear on a Contempt of Court charge. She was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On October 28, 2025, LT Sam Mullins arrested Danny Moses age 35 of Gray KY on two Oldham County Bench Warrants for failure to pay the fines on 3 counts of promoting Contraband-1^st Degree and Tampering with Physical Evidence. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On October 28, 2025, SGT Jesse Smith received a call that Teddi McKeenan was driving under the influence on KY1530 in Bryants Store. SGT Smith located the vehicle at the Dollar Store on KY 11. SGT Smith arrested Teddi McKeenan age 38 of Bryants Store, KY charging her with Possession of Controlled Substance-1^st Degree when he located suspected methamphetamine in her possession. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On October 29, 2025, LT Sam Mullins arrested Wendell Hobbs age 47 of Flat Lick, KY on  a  Knox County Arrest Warrant for Criminal Tresspassing-3^rd Degree and Harassment. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On October 30, 2025, Deputies responded to a domestic violence complaint at a residence on Morehead Lane in Flat Lick. When the deputies arrived they observed a female standing outside the residence and could hear her yelling. Deputies arrested Loretta Smith age 57 of Flat Lick, KY charging her with Alcohol Intoxication in Public Place. Deputies also arrested Stanley Smith age 63 of Flat Lick, KY charging him with Assault-4^th Degree. They were lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On October 30, 2025, after a traffic stop on Phillips Branch Road in Road Fork, SGT Jesse Smith arrested Vestina Smith age 46 of Girdler, KY charging her with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana and Illegal Possession of Ledged Drug. Vestina Smith was also wanted on a Clay County Bench Warrant for a Probation Violation charge. She was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On October 30, 2025, after a traffic stop on Phillips Branch Road in Road Fork, SGT Jesse Smith arrested  Larry Townsley age 57 of Girdler, KY and Blacie Smith age 69 of Manchester, KY charging them both with Possession of Marijuana. They were lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On October 31, 2025, while patrolling on Henson Hollow Road, Deputy David Dunn observed a vehicle in the ditch. After conducting an investigation, Deputy Dunn arrested the driver, Daniel Phipps age 59 of Barbourville, KY, charging him with Operating on Suspended or Revoked Operators License, Failure to Produce Insurance Card, and No Registration Plates. Daniel Phipps was also wanted on four Knox County Bench Warrants for failure to pay the fines on Operating Motor Vehicle Under the Influence, 2 counts of License to be in Possession, 2 counts of No Registration Plates, 2 counts of No Registration Receipt,  2 counts of No Insurance, Operating on Suspended or Revoked Operators License, Failure to Wear Seat Belts, Excessive Windshield or Window Tint and 2 counts of Contempt of Court charges. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On November 2, 2025, Deputy David Dunn arrested Jason Bailey age 45 of Barbourville KY charging him with Public Intoxication/Controlled Substance. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On November 2, 2025, Deputy Thomas Martin arrested Johnny K Marcum age 39 of London, KY on a Knox County Arrest Warrant for Burglary-2^nd Degree, Violation of Kentucky EVO/DVO and Assault-4^th Degree. Johnny Marcum was also wanted on a Knox County Bench Warrant for failure to pay the fine on a Menacing charge and a Laurel County Bench Warrant for a Parole Violation charge. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
