We were on scene when 65-year-old William Chester Freeman was arrested by Pineville Police Chief Brandon Hollingsworth and officer Samson Churchwell took him into custody in the parking lot of a local grocery store.
Freeman is accused of trying to meet wat he believed was a 15-year-old female juvenile. Officer Churchwell states that he made contact with an individual posing as the girl who showed him Facebook messages between the two.
Freeman's messages to the decoy from 606 Pred Hunters showed that he had sent pictures of his genitals and one of his face to "clearly identify him and arrange to pick her up" at the grocery store parking lot. The decoy did communicate to Freeman that "she" was just 15 years old.
William Chester Freeman was lodged in the Bell County Detention Center charged with procuring or promoting the use of a minor by eletronic means.
The 606 Predator Hunters is an organization that uses adult-operated decoy accounts to identify people attempting to arrange sexual contact with minors, which is permitted by Kentucky Law.
