A New Tazewell, Tenn. man is charged with attempted robbery after an incident at a Hancock County Rite-Aid pharmacy. New Tazewell Police picked up William David Hopper Friday March 15, 2019.
According to Hancock County Sheriff Brad Brewer, Hopper was indicted by a grand jury on the charges.
The attempted robbery happened at the Rite-Aid pharmacy in Sneedville on January 14, 2019.
Hopper was released on a $40,000 bail.
He's scheduled to be back in court on April 1st.
