Outstanding warrant leads to arrest

From the Bell County Sheriff's Department -

Manford G Saylor - BCDC

On Wednesday June 26, 2019 at approximately 4:10pm Bell County Deputy Adam Southern came in contact with a red Chevy S-10 on Balkan Road with 37 year old Manford G Saylor of Pathfork Ky. as the driver.


The deputy knew Saylor to have an outstanding warrant on file which he confirmed with Bell County Dispatch.


A search incident to arrest yielded a small bag of a crystal like substance believed to be Methamphetamine in his pocket. Also found were two syringes, one of which was loaded with a brown substance believed to be Methamphetamine. Saylor was also not carrying his driver’s license which was confirmed as expired.


Saylor was taken into custody and lodged in the Bell County Detention Center charged with possession of controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense – Methamphetamine, buying/possessing drug paraphernalia, operating a motor vehicle with an expired license, and license to be in possession. He was also served the outstanding pay or stay warrant.
