From the Knox County Sheriff's Department -

On Friday, May 10, 2019 at approximately 1:40 pm Knox County Deputy Sam Mullins responded to a reported robbery at the B & H Shoe Store on US 25 E in Corbin.
During his investigation, Deputy Mullins learned that a white male had walked out of B & H Shoes with two items of clothing,that he did not pay for. A store employee confronted him outside the business and asked for the items to be returned, the man brandished a handgun and told the employee that he would not give anything back.
On May 10, 2019 at approximated 3:05 pm the man was stopped by Laurel County Deputies on the London Highway at Farriston. Deputy
Mullins met them at that location and took possession of Cameron M Brummett age 19 of London, KY. At the time of his arrest Brummentt
was wearing the two items taken, a shirt and hat. The handgun used in the robbery could not be located.
Cameron Brummett, was charged with Robbery-2nd Degree and lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
