From the Knox County Sheriff's Department-
On May 16, 2019 SGT Carl Frith received a complaint of a man passed out in a yard on HWY 225 south of Barbourville. When SGT Frith arrived at the location, he observed the man with a kart containing tools and a generator.
After conducting an investigation, SGT Frith determined the tools and generator had been taken from the construction site at the new Knox County Detention Center.
SGT Frith arrested Nathan Parks age 38 of Heidrick, KY charging him with Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition-over $500. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
