From the Claiborne County Sheriff's Office -

On Tuesday, August 12, 2025, detectives with the Claiborne County Sheriff's Office Drug Investigations Division were conducting criminal interdiction patrols on Highway 33. During the operation, detectives made a traffic stop near Carr Ridge Road.
As detectives were approaching the vehicle, narcotics were thrown out of a window from inside the vehicle. Detectives then located a large quantity of Methamphetamine.

56-year-old Jeffery Charles Burger was placed under arrest and charged with possession of Methamphetamine for sale & delivery.
He is being held in the Claiborne County Jail.

He's been in and out of jail. The justice system is broken and he will probably turn on some one to get a lighter sentence and be right back out before you know it. If you are in a hurry to get high and possibly die, go see your neighbor hood drug dealer!!
