From Laurel County Sheriff John Root
Laurel Sheriff’s Detective Daniel Grigsby along with Detective Kyle Gray arrested two individuals on Tuesday afternoon February 5, 2019 at approximately 1:22 PM.
The arrests occurred in London following an investigation conducted by detectives after receiving a complaint that a male subject who lived with the couple was allegedly the victim of the couple who had cashed several checks under the victim’s name and signed the checks with the victim’s name.
The two arrested individuals were identified as Csaba Pataki age 65 of London charged with 19 counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument – first-degree and his wife Estera Pataki age 64 of London charged with seven counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument – first-degree.
These two individuals were lodged in the Laurel County detention center. The investigation is continuing.
