Two Middlesboro men arrested for meth at a storage unit

Middlesboro Police are reporting the arrest of two men in Middlesboro on Monday February 11, 2019 in regard to $9,000 worth of Methamphetamine.


Working off of tips from the public, Middlesboro Officer Chris Barnes, Detective Joe Holder, and Bell County K-9 Deputy James Taulbee along with other officers, were told that a storage unit at Mars properties on 15th street was the site of drug sales.


Once on scene the officers arrested 18 year old Steven King of Middlesboro along with 19 year old Dakota Owens.

After executing a search warrant at the storage unit and subsequently the vehicle involved, police found over three ounces of what has been determined to be Methamphetamine.


While drug charges are pending, Steven King was served four outstanding bench warrants.


Dakota Owens was also served a pay or stay warrant.


Both were lodged in the Bell County Detention Center. but have since been released on bond.
