Wanted felon captured - given more charges

On Sunday, February 3, 2019 at approximately 8:30 pm Knox County Deputy Bobby Jones received information that Dustin Mills was at the Dollar General Store in Girdler. Deputies had been attempting to locate Dustin Mills who was wanted on two outstanding Knox County Warrants.


21 year old Dustin Tyler Mills of Cannon, KY was arrested on a Knox County Arrest Warrant for Engaging in Organized Crime and Possession of Handgun by Convicted Felon and Knox County Bench Warrant for failure to appear on Operating on Suspended or Revoked Operator License, No Insurance, No Registration Plates or Receipt, Disregarding Traffic Control Device, Failure to Wear Seat Belts and Contempt of Court charges.


During the arrest, Deputy Jones located a 9mm handgun in his possession. Dustin Mills was then charged with Possession of Handgun by Convicted Felon.


Dustin Mills was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
