From Frakes Volunteer Fire Department Chief Jason Partin -
At 10:16 am Sunday November 17, 2019, the Frakes Volunteer Fire Department received a call from Bell Dispatch in regard to a vehicle over an embankment on Hwy 3485, approximately 1.5 miles from the top of Fonde Mountain.
Upon arrival, the Frakes Volunteer Fire Department found a early 2000's model, Silver Lincoln Navigator down below the roadway approximately 150'. The female occupant had left the scene with a motorist, while the male subject remained at the scene.
The man was treated by EMT's with Frakes Volunteer Fire Department until Bell County and Middlesboro EMS arrived on the scene. The male patient was transported to MARH via Bell County EMS for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Wagner's Towing and Mike's Towing arrived and removed the vehicle from the scene.
Also assisting at the scene was Max Graves with Bell County Sheriff's Office and Bell County Rescue Squad.
There were two puppies left inside the vehicle that received care by Frakes EMTs.
