Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Allen Turner along with K-9 Deputy Gary Mehler and Deputy Travis Napier arrested 39-year-old Daniel Nolan of Burnett Rd., London on Tuesday night September 24, 2019 at 7:55 PM.
The arrest occurred off Burnett Road, approximately 9 miles southeast of London after deputies were dispatched to a disturbance complaint there.
Upon arrival at the scene Nolan fled the scene on foot but was apprehended following a short foot chase. Deputies conducted an investigation and learned that he allegedly hit a female subject with his fist and then strangled her.
Nolan was charged with assault – 4th degree; strangulation – second-degree; fleeing or evading police – second-degree – on foot. Daniel Nolan was lodged in the Laurel County correctional center.
