There has been a fatal accident in the Frakes community. At approximately 8:07 am Bell County Dispatch received a call of a vehicle off the roadway near the intersection of Highway 1595 and 190.
Once on scene, first responders found the vehicle upside down in a creek.
At least one person has died in the accident.
The initial investigation indicates the vehicle appeared to be traveling southbound on KY 1595 when it left the roadway on the right side of the road and overcorrected. The vehicle then crossed the centerline and struck a tree and road sign before overturning in a creek on its top.
Bell County Deputy County Jason Steele tells us that the man is 33-year-old Nathan Burton Jr. of Burlington, Kentucky.
Responding to the scene was Bell County EMS, Bell County Rescue Squad, Frakes Volunteer Fire Department, and Kentucky State Police.
