UPDATE: Sam Farmer was found walking by a family member a short time after the alert was issued. It is officially canceled.

The Bell County Sheriff's Department has issued a Golden Alert for 60-year-old Edward Farmer who goes by "Sam". Mr. Farmer has been experiencing an altered metal state for the past few days.
He went missing from his residence in Dorton Branch at approximately 10:30pm Monday night, January 15th.
Mr. Farmer is a white male 5' 7", 175lbs, brown eyes, and mostly bald. He was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, blue jeans, and a black hat.
The sheriff's department has officially entered Mr. Farmer as a missing person. If you have seen him or know his whereabouts, please call Bell County Dispatch at 606-337-6174.
