Bell County school determines threat not credible

From WRIL -

On Thursday, September 15, 2022, Page School Center received information about a threat made by a student in a classroom.

School officials took immediate action and removed the student from the classroom referring the incident to the Special Law Enforcement Officers.

Superintendent Tom Gambrel tells WRIL:

“The student won't be in the building and our Special Law Enforcement Officers, along with the Bell County Sheriff’s Department, have finished their investigation. We do not believe it to be a viable threat at this time, but we always take any threat seriously.

The safety of our students is our highest priority. We appreciate our law enforcement officers and the Bell County Sheriff's Department.”
