**WRIL has been told that an individual showed up at the Middlesboro Police Department Sunday night in regard to this incident and was questioned by Kentucky State Police Trooper Don Perry and shortly afterward Trooper Taylor Mills. Those involved were apparently arguing during an ATV ride and the situation escalated.
At this time no charges have been filed, but the investigation is continuing.

We are following a report of a man being stabbed in the Yellow Hill area of Bell County sometime after 2:30am Sunday morning September 1st. The individual was taken to the Middlesboro ARH emergency room and flown by Air Evac to UT Hospital.
While we have very limited details at this time we do know that Kentucky State Police Troopers Don Perry and Taylor Mills are in charge of the investigation.
