From The Laurel County Sheriff's Department-
Laurel Sheriff's Deputy James Sizemore along with shift Sgt. John Inman arrested 19-year-old Trevor Karr of Highway 552, Lily on Thursday night December 23, 2021 at approximately 10:46 AM.
This was following an investigation conducted by the Laurel County Sheriff's office regarding the attempted break-in of a business on Highway 552 in Lily where two suspects allegedly broke the front door glass out of the business causing the business alarm to sound.
Karr and a female juvenile fled when the alarm sounded. Following an investigation by the Sheriff's office following the review of video surveillance, sheriff’s investigators developed information on the suspects, who were identified and the adult male identified as Karr was arrested and charged with attempted burglary - first-degree. He was lodged in the Laurel County correctional center.
Also charged with attempted burglary was the female juvenile.
