Call of someone shooting up at Walmart leads to an arrest

On Thursday, December 26, 2019 Middlesboro Officer Joel Quillen responded to Walmart parking lot after a call to dispatch of someone “shooting up”.


Upon arrival, Officer Quillen made contact with a woman in a white Toyota Camry identified as 25 year old Natasha Goins of Middlesboro.


Officer Quillen states in a citation that Goins was found to have an uncapped needle in the driver’s side door of the vehicle. Goins was asked for consent to search and it was given which revealed the needle had residue from a controlled substance. There was also a purse in the back seat with a bag of a crystal-like substance believed to be Methamphetamine inside. Also found was green pipe with residue, a bag containing Marijuana and a container with an orange pill.


Natasha Goins was arrested and lodged in the Bell County Detention Center charged with possession of controlled substance - 1st degree, 1st offense (Methamphetamine), possession of controlled substances - 1st degree, 1st offense (Opiates), possession of Marijuana, and buy/possessing drug paraphernalia.
