Carnahan Arrest Update - More Charges After Additional Victims Come Forward

The Bell County Sheriff's Department has lodged additional charges against 69-year-old Darrell Carnahan of Loyall, Ky. already in custody for serious drug, sexual, and human trafficking offenses.

Today (Thursday, July 9, 2026) Detective Hunter Luttrell served Carnahan at the Bell County Detention Center with another count of rape - 1st degree, promoting prostitution (two or more victims), and human trafficking - forced labor. He was also charged with an additional count of rape - 1st degree and sodomy - 1st degree.
