Calls of nude man in Walmart parking lot nets indecent exposure arrest by Middlesboro Police

Saturday Night April 9, 2022, Middlesboro Police received multiple calls in regard to a man walking through Walmart parking lot getting in and out of his vehicle while nude exposing himself to customers.


Responding to the scene initially was Middlesboro Sgt. Jeremiah Johnson who found 45-year-old Jacob Walter Lefevers sitting in his vehicle with his pants partially on and lower extremities still exposed. A search of his vehicle yielded a bag of suspected Methamphetamine under a mat in the floorboard.


Once Lefevers was taken into custody and transported to police headquarters for processing he continued to remove his clothing exposing himself to employees and officers. Wile being transported to the Bell County Detention Center, Lefevers kept removing his clothing until he was finally removed from Sgt. Johnson’s cruiser and taken into the facility.


Jacob Lefevers was charged with (3) three counts of indecent exposure, disorderly conduct – 2nd degree, possession of controlled substance – 1st degree, 1st offense (Methamphetamine), and public intoxication – controlled substance (excluding alcohol).


Also responding to the scene was Walmart loss prevention, Lt. Jordan Hurd, Patrolman Hunter Marcum, Patrolman Bucky Harris, and K-9 Ofc. Nick Capps..
