Claiborne County Deputies arrest two after call of burglary in progress

On Thursday, October 7, 2021, Claiborne County Sheriff’s Office patrol Deputies responded to a burglary in progress call on Park Circle in Harrogate. Upon arrival and further investigation, Deputies were able to locate a large amount of stolen property at a residence on Boone Dr in Harrogate.


As a result of this investigation, Deputies were able to recover stolen property and solve five additional burglaries and thefts. Deputies also recovered additional property that is believed to be stolen and awaiting positive identification by victims.


Deputies arrested 49-year-old John Seiber, of Harrogate who is charged with Burglary, Theft of Property, Vandalism, Criminal Trespassing and Possession of Schedule VI Controlled Substance. Deputies also arrested 59-year-old Terry Hill, 5 of Harrogate who is charged with Burglary, Theft of Property, Criminal Trespassing, Vandalism, Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
