Claiborne County Tennessee authorities arrest two for selling drugs

On the evening of Thursday, October 15, 2020, the Claiborne County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division, Tazewell Police Department, 8th Judicial Drug Task Force, and the Sheriff’s Office S.W.A.T. Team executed two simultaneous search warrants on residences, located at 713 Fan Street, Tazewell and 1608 HWY 33 South, New Tazewell.


The execution of this evenings search warrants was the result of lengthy narcotic investigations by the Detectives and Agents of the involved agencies. At 713 Fan Street, 52 year old Samuel Honeycutt, was arrested and charged with Sale or Delivery of Schedule III with more charges expected to come.


Prior to the execution of a search warrant at 1608 HWY 33 South, Detectives located the subject in question, 32 year old Robert Brandon Poore, at Catdaddy's Market and took him into custody. Upon search of the subjects’ vehicle, Methamphetamine and prescription narcotics were located along with a sum of money, which was seized. During the search of the residence Detectives and Agents located additional prescription narcotics.


Robert Brandon Poore, was charged with Sale or Delivery of Schedule II, Possession of Schedule II with Intent to Sale, Possession of Schedule III, Possession of Schedule VI, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.


Both Poore and Honeycutt were lodged in the Claiborne County Jail.
