On Friday night January 20, 2023, we reported that a Be On The Lookout was issued in the Tri-State area after a reported stabbing at a residence on Arrowwood Drive in Harrogate. An individual suffered injuries sustained in the incident and was flown by Lifestar to UT medical Center for treatment. His condition has not been released.
The suspected assailant, a female, fled the scene in a white Volkswagen Beetle and authorities in the area began a search for her.
Shortly before midnight on Friday, the alleged suspect, identified as 25-year-old Rikie Mullins, was arrested and booked into the Claiborne County Jail by Claiborne Deputy Adam Lewis.
Mullins has been charged with Aggravated Domestic Assault, Felony Evading, Resisting Arrest, Open Container Law, Reckless Driving, Driving An Unregistered Vehicle, and License to be Carried.
While the full details of the incident have yet to be published we have been in contact
with the sheriff's department and expect more information shortly.
*All those reported by WRIL as being charged with a crime are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
