On Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at approximately 3:30 am Knox County Deputy Jesse Smith responded to a complaint of a man that had broken into a residence on Ott Road in Corbin.
When Deputy Smith arrived, he observed the man inside the residence. After confronting the man, Deputy Smith arrested 55-year-old Michael Howard of Corbin, KY. charging him with Burglary-2nd Degree.
During the arrest, Deputy Smith located a syringe inside his jacket pocket. Michael Howard was then charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Tampering with Physical Evidence.
He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
