Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that Detective Robert Reed arrested 22-year-old Chris Henry of Corbin early Tuesday morning November 23, 2021, at approximately 3:21 am.
The arrest occurred off American Greeting Card Road after the Sheriff's office received information on Monday night the 22nd about the possible rape of an underage female victim.
An investigation was initiated and it was determined that allegedly Chris Henry subjected an underage female to sexual contact. Henry was arrested and lodged in the Laurel county Correctional Center charged with rape - 1st degree and sodomy - 2nd degree. he is being held on a $100,000 cash bond.
