According to a Harlan County criminal complaint warrant, on Sunday, August 1, 2021, 21-year-old Justin R. McQueen was charged with what is described as "unlawfully and intentionally causing physical injury to a physically helpless 18-month old child."
Lynch Police Department Officer Jason Adams took out the warrant and Officer Stewart arrested McQueen on Friday August 6th lodging him in the Harlan County Detention Center.
He is charged with criminal abuse - 1st degree - child 12 or under. Criminal abuse in the first degree is a Class C felony.
McQueen is being held on a $20,000 cash bond and was arraigned Monday morning the 9th.
