Early Morning Fire Destroys Bell County Kentucky Sawmill

A short time before 2:30 am Sunday morning December 15th Bell County Dispatch received a call of a structure fire on Highway 221 in the Stoney Fork community.

Responding Bell County Volunteer Fire units found the E & E Hardwoods Sawmill fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters worked to douse the flames and left the scene several hours later.

The fire rekindled at 7:58 am and BCVFD units responded once again clearing the scene approximately an hour later.

The state arson investigator has been called to the scene to open a case on the cause of the fire.
