Flat Lick Man Charged with Arson After Setting Fires At A Knox County Home

On Wednesday April 9, 2025, Knox County Deputy Sgt. Jesse Smith received a complaint of an individual starting a fire underneath an occupied residence on Binghamtown Road in Flat Lick.


During his investigation, Sgt Smith learned that 47-year-old Johnathan Hall of Flat Lick had intentionally started two fires at the residence, one in the back and another one underneath the house. John Hall had also taken a vehicle and a cellular telephone without the owner’s permission.


Johnathan Hall was arrested and lodged in the Knox County Detention Center charged with Arson-1st Degree, Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle and Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition. He is being held on a $50,000 cash bond.
