Fugitive arrest:
Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Rick Cloyd along with Deputy Joey Robinson, Deputy Allen Turner, Deputy Josh Morgan, and Deputy Jamie Etherton arrested Curtis Wayne Lewis age 28 of Level Green Rd., Keavy on Saturday afternoon January 5, 2019 at approximately 3:22 PM.
The arrest occurred off Level Green Road approximately 9 miles South of London after Lewis was found hiding in a closet and was determined to be a wanted fugitive wanted by Cass County Indiana on two outstanding warrants, including burglary of a dwelling and possession of marijuana.
Indiana will extradite Lewis back to Indiana. He is lodged in the Laurel County detention center.
