On Monday, November 11, 2019 Deputy Sam Mullins received a complaint of a disturbance at a residence on Tyler Jones Lane in Girdler. When Deputy Mullins arrived at approximately 10:05 am, he observed a female outside the residence yelling. Deputy Mullins arrested Rebecca Smith age 41 of Girdler, KY charging her with public intoxication-controlled substance. She was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
Later that same day in the afternoon at approximately 1:35 pm Deputy Mullins responded to a complaint of a female walking on Highway 1304 in Girdler shaking door knobs and attempting to enter the houses. When Deputy Mullins arrived the female had entered a residence and was going through the owner’s property.
Deputy Mullins arrested Rebecca Smith a second time charging her with burglary-3rd degree and lodged her in the Knox County Detention Center.
