Got to get the truck home before being served warrants

On Thursday February 7, 2019 Middlesboro Det Sgt Joe Holder attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a 1992 black Toyota pick up truck to serve a warrant on the driver, 48 year old Mark England.


Sgt. Holder states in his citation that he attempted the stop west of 31st street and KY 74 (Cumberland Avenue), but England refused to pull over continuing on Cumberland Avenue.


The pursuit made it’s way through several streets with England disregarding stop signs until he finally stopped at a residence on Carmony Street. England stated that he knew he had warrants but wanted to get his truck to his residence.


He was arrested and lodged in the Bell County Detention Center charged with fleeing or evading police 2nd degree motor vehicle, 2 counts of disregarding a stop sign, possession of marijuana, 2 counts of improper signal. He was also served two outstanding warrants.
